Saturday 18th April - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods.

Being the weekend we don’t usually stay far from home, breakfast in the sunny back garden followed by my exercises while Mag sorts out her tomato plants to give away before I pack a picnic. We then just walk down to a very busy prom, the light breeze was offshore meant the sea was very flat. A quick trip round the pier before continuing onto our favourite seat in a raised section of the Spa Gardens which means you can put some distance from the crowded prom :) We enjoyed our yummy corned beef sandwiches and were joined by a couple of magpies, a gull, some pigeons, a squirrel and a rat! We watched a couple of young ladies on stand up paddle boards out with yachts and fishing boats! We rested we continued through the gardens and up to the town centre where we needed a couple of things from Underwoods before returning home to watch the Red Roses thrash Scotland in the 6 Nations!
